A great deal of time, energy and experience has gone into creating Graffiti Park's show. Their primary goal is entertaining the audience. Pleasing the crowd musically is one thing - but to involve them and keep them coming back is quite another! They consider this to be an enjoyable challenge and one of their fortes.
The band often includes games and contests in their shows and like to collaborate with the venue's management in planning events - competition really draws people in and allows the audience to feel more of a part of the show.
The band has spent a lot of time and effort expanding their songlists to include almost every popular style of music out there, even if it is only a couple of songs from each artist, and they deliver something for just about everyone. They rehearse at least twice a week in order to keep up with the current hits and often play a game called "stump the band" with their audience. Again, this involves everyone and keeps them on their toes!
Graffiti Park work generally as a four-piece band when travelling internationally, but also perform as a three piece to a six-piece band depending on the venue's requirements. Everyone in the band is a lead vocalist so their sound is rich and full, and they all play at least two instruments, so they can 'switch it up' on occasion to add to the show.
For the past seven years, Graffiti Park has toured internationally as well as all over Canada and the U.S. Graffiti Park has been hired for numerous national and international corporate functions and entertained the armed forces for England, Canada and the United States.
Band Members have worked with the likes of Bon Jovi, Jeff Healey, Tom Cochrane, the Barenaked Ladies, Kim Stockwood, Leo Sayer, Colin James and Huey Lewis and the News - just to name a few! They have even jammed on occasion with Keifer Sutherland, who used to frequent a 'house gig' they played in Toronto.
